PPAC received over 1,500 submissions this year and as a part of the exhibition, PPAC will produce as many as 60 works of public art. Teaching artists will collaborate with community center participants to design up to 20 of the city's first digitally produced photo murals in conjunction the city's Mural Arts Program. An additional 40 images will be selected and placed on billboards for the month of December. The details of these public works will be released shortly.

On Friday, October 18th, PPAC and the entire city celebrated Philly Photo Day 2013, a FREE city wide event. Everyone in the city was invited to take a photograph anywhere in Philadelphia and submit it to be included in a vast exhibition to create an immense portrait of Philadelphia. Twilight in the Garden

Check out this great place! Amanda just finished this oil painting for tonight's fund raising Gala at Bartram's Garden. The Bartram's Garden was named after John Bartram, America's first botanist. He was endlessly curious about the natural world.  He wanted to learn everything about the world around him and truly believed that all living things were beautiful in their own right. His explorations of wild American landscapes were deeply influential to Europeans who were hungry for any and all information about the New World.

Malika

In a recent photo shoot to add some new content to our portfolio, we got the chance to show off Malika, a model from MMA. We took some beautiful holiday photos and fashion shots, but the sensual lingerie photos were the cream of the crop. They were so good, we felt the need to compile them together into a nifty video!

The College, the Professor, and the Magazine

Recently, we worked with the editor of a new Australian magazine, Inside HR. We took some photos of Peter Capelli, the Professor of Management at The Wharton School and Director of Wharton's Center for Human Resources. These photos took place in the University of Pennsylvania's newest building, Jon M. Huntsman Hall, where we were lucky enough to be the first photographers to take pictures in the newest display of architectural genius.

Pick of the Week: Fall

With summer coming to an end, and the heat with it, we get to look forward to a few months of cool breezes, leaves falling from trees, and tax season. I don't know about you, but I'd take a chill autumn day over a day of 95 degree heat in Philadelphia any day. So I say bring on the Fall and the great holidays that come with it: Labor Day, Halloween and Thanksgiving.

Throwback Thursday: H.O.O.F.

H.O.O.F is a personal project of ours based on the horse owners of Fairmount that raise horses on the urban streets in Northern Philadelphia. It was truly a magnificent experience to see people of all ages riding and caring for these majestic creatures. Check out our Facebook page for even more photos!

Throwback Thursday: Models

Over the years, we have done countless photo shoots and have worked with many different models. Because we have worked with so many, our archives are chalk full of photos of these beautiful people. Today we offer a peak into the past with an assortment of the characters that we are grateful to have worked with.

We are Green

Once upon a trip to New Jersey, we took photographs of various farms and fields that had been treated with Envirokure's product. We even got a testimony from a golf course's groundskeeper telling us how healthy the grass had become. Several hours later, we made our way to the biggest blueberry farm in Hammonton. The blueberries had not yet ripened, but the bushes that bore them were enormous. Needless to say, I'm impressed with the results that Envirokure has brought to people.

Heaven in a Bottle

Earlier this year, we did an ad with Agency 51 for Kamasutra Vodka. The curvaceous female form of the bottle is only matched by the three delectable flavors offered. The flavors come in Oriental Vodka, Ginseng and Vodka, and Ginseng and Passionfruit. Try it for yourself and experience the tantalizing taste of Kamasutra Vodka!
