A Man of Many Hats
Meet Monty, a stoic farmer from Nebraska that came to the studio for a portrait. Monty grows corn and alfalfa on his farm, as well as raising cattle. Bought at a cowboy store, his silk scarf keeps him warm on the field. His hat is well worn and he hasn't been able to find anything like it yet.
We played around with lighting and found the Profoto ring light showed off his features the best.
He revealed that he hopes these photos get him famous enough to meet Clint Eastwood someday.
Thank you to Monty for coming to the studio. We had a great time photographing your stunning features in a portrait. We look forward to adding this to the portfolio and hope you get to meet Mr. Eastwood someday.

Pick of the Week 4.4.14
Everyone loves a cute little monkey, swinging on trees and eating bananas and here at Amanda Stevenson Photo we are no exception. We recently got addicted to a fun app called Monkey and Me where you can put a small little stuffed animal monkey into a picture!
This lead to some inspired YouTube searching on monkeys:
Amanda chose Brass Monkey by the Beastie Boys as her inspiration for the week.
Austin decided to become a monkey and listen to "Witch Doctor" and sing "Ooh Eeh Ooh Ah Aah Ting Tang Walla Wall Bing Bang"
Greta wanted to watch a cute little monkey and found one getting a bath! So adorable.
