Throwback Thursday: PAFA

These are from the archives of Amanda's time spent studying at the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts. She had attended from 2000-2004. At PAFA, people learned the European way to study art, which was through drawing, painting, and sculpture. These pictures are but a taste of the experiences and exquisite pieces created at PAFA.

Capture the Colors

Making man out of clay. Playing God per se.

Analyzing a painting

Discussing a work in black in white

Putting passion on paper

Such attention to detail

Depicting the greats

Sculpture and Education are both timeless topics.

Abstract and expressive work

It's amazing how accurate this is

Fine and precise

Adding the muscles

Learning next to the fire

These old bones

Coolest classroom I have ever seen
